Summer Jobs for Teens

Summer vacation is coming! I really waited for it. I read this article' Summer jobs for teens'. summer is the best time for teenagers to take a break from the school environment, and experience the world of work. in North America, junior high and high school students are given the opportunity to learn the value of a hard day's work, through various summer youth employment programs. however, youngsters are confined to school club activities and prep schoolsin japan; otherwise they are left astray and for the most part given money to spend any way they wish like games, comics, and new iPod.
In Japan, almost all teens don't care about finding a job this summer. "We have bukatsu (club activities) during the summer vacation, and I have no time to work," they say. "Besides, we must go to juku to study for juken because our parents want us to enter a good university."
Recently, teens always have money to go out and have fun with friends. they owns a brand new stuff, a trendy cell phone and an expensive iPod. their parents tries to buy them anything they asks for, even if it means straining her purse.if they could work, it would be a valuable for them because they don't know the value of money. many Japanese teenagers are missing out on the practical experience of summer youth employment, which undoubtedly imparts confidence in the ability to compete in the job market. I'm not saying that extra schooling and club activities are terrible things, but there should be have a balance of studying, working and playing in young adults' lives. Even if young employment is not based upon real economic need, I believe it enables teens to bring up productive adults. When young people are exposed to the world of work, they get a wealth of benefits that keep with them for a lifetime. They learn the value of hard work, personal initiative and independence. They also learn how to carry out instructions, how to work together others effectively in the workplace, and ways to manage time and money.
Also, part time job is good for learning society, work market, and know the value of money. I have worked since I was high school stuedent in the bar, restaurant, karaoke and so on. I could learned many many important things such a how to give the service for customers, how to work together other staffs, and also importance of money in there. Any enperiencies will be estate for oneself in the future. I srtongly think that teenagers have to try to work!!

parents who stay together for the sake of their children may be doing them more harm than good, according to new research.
Children whose parents remain married but frequently argue do worse at school than those from secure, lone-parent families. they are more likely to use drugs and have mental heals proglems and behavia issues. we can call them 'high-conflict' families. they becoming binge drenkers is about a third higher than tnose from single-parent households. children from high-conflict mamilies have an increased likelihood, of an order of magnitude ranging from 45 persent to 75 persent, of eight out of 10 of our outcomes: dropping of school, poor grades, smorking, bingr drinking, marijuana use, early sex, and union dissolution. using date from 2000 families interviewed are serch seties. the report tracked children from age 4 to 34.
it showed that substance sbuse was common, with one- thid of them on unhappy families repoeting somrking an binge drinking in hte past month, and a quarther using marijhana in the past year. one in the five children frome unhappy families reported having sex for the first time before 16 with the same persentage cohabiting gy 21. and 9 persents had a child outside marriadge and 40 persents experienced the dissolution of their first cohabiting or marital union.
until I read this topic, I thought that keeping stay together for the sake of children is beeter than single-parent family. however, parents who stay together without love is cauose their children's problems. children are sensitive for parents relationship. In my case, if my parents get fight I really sad. on the other hand, if my parents are smiling or talking a lot, I'm very happy. parents are very important presence for children. chilren look parentes always more than parents thinking. if you dicide to divorce, you don't worry about your children. you just thow your lots of love for your children. the most important thing to bring up good children is love!!

Animals

I had a cat 2 years ago. Her name is Chibi because she was very very small as a hand when she came my house. we called her Chi-chan. she has black and white color and short tail. she is soooooo cute. she came my house when I was elementary school student. it was rainny day, my brother and I found her in the park. she was in a box and it was written that'please pick up her' so she was left cat. he and me was so sad. i really want to pick up her but i cannot keep her in my house so we went back to our house without her in that time. however we could not forget about her, so my brother back to the park and pick up her. later, our mother back to home, we told her the story what happen or us. we thought that she got angry, but she forgave us with some condition. keep her with responsibles, keep her until we find a foster parent and so on. we looked for a foster parent of her but we could not find it and we really loved Chibi. therefore we decided to care about her forever. and then she made our home warm and brought many smiles.

several years later, i got some thing. I mean that I found a cat he or she was left in two or three times. each time, I looked for a foster parant and found it.that's a not problem. the problem is why they leave the little cats. I can not belieave it. they are so small, cute and powerless so they need someones help. the people are irresponsible. i don't know why they leave them. animals are not just pet. they are arriving and has oun lifes. we have to rally think about what is a keep animals. and also we should remember that we have responsible for keep pets. easygoing is too bat for keep animals. please keep animals with careful thinking.

Rules

Today's Media English class, we talked about the news which some students bring a topic.
I heard one topic that students cannot bring banana in school. I don't remember which country's news but it's funny rule, isn't it?? Why ban the banana bring to school? Because a famele teacher has allergy to banana. Can you beleave it?? Just one teacher has allergy!! the rule is kind for that teacher but other people have allergy to some food, animals, or something. if the schools make rule for every allergy like ban banana bring, they don't have goal, they don't have end because there are huge number of allergy in the world.

And then we talked about strange school rules. one of our group menber told us her story. her high school has the rule which students cannot bring cellphone to the school. when teachers find someone's cellphone, they take up it, and they keep it at least one month.AT LEAST ONE MONTH!It is hard rule,isn't it? my high school have same rule, but teacher back to me my cellphone after school. she said that my school is private school so they have very strict rules. That's the why they have that rule.

In my case, my part time job is stuff of sports gym. the gym is very severe with appearance. for example, hair color tones, nails, and coloer of hair gum. moreover, color of socks! I have to color my hair under number 7 tone. I have to color my nails only pastel pink and keep short nails. I have to wear white socks and so on. permanent employees are very noisy. I cannot understand what is the problem about other colored socks or hair gum for customers. oneday, I asked my boss why other colored socks is bad? and so on. My boss just said 'IT'S OUR RULES.' so still I have 'why'. also, sometimes we have spot check. we should line up and our boss check our appearance. when I am checked, I feel like where I am, and feel I'm a junior high school student.

Rule is necessary for school, company, and any societis. I know that. however i don't think that all rules are correct. some rules are right but some ones are not. therefore, I should pick up correct rule carefully. then we should think about the rules are really macth for each community before we make rules.

Introduction

Helloooooooo!!Thank you for coming to my page. Let me introduce my self.
Im Mei Suzuki.Im senior of a English literature major in this year.
I was born in Tokyo and also grew up in there. Im live in otaku which is not famouse place. There are just home and home ,,, I mean it is residential area. It is very boring place for me but very very peaceful in there.Once in a while, you can find strange man but sometines,,,just sometimes.

Im into shopping, make some cakes, and music lives. In my free time, I usually go shopping alone because I cannot choose clothes or something in a few minuites, I need time to decide what should I pick up! If I go shopping with my friend, she (or he...i hope) should wait to me long time and also I have to care about her. I wanna go many shops freely, I wanna take the times to choice clothes so thats the reason why I go shopping alone.
I usually meke cakes for my family or friends birth day. When Im making cakes, turn up the volume of music and singing with louger voice. I feel very happy! It is my presious time. My favorite one is chiffon cake!The chiffon cake of this picture above, I made it for my friends reacently.They said me it is very yammy. The word made me happy!!
And I love music lives. I went to MR.CHILDREN'S live last month. I was soooooooo moved. Almost time I was crying because their songs beat my heart. And also it makes me high. I was really enjoyed it. Next week I will go to live of AYUMI HAMASAKI with my friends. Im really really looking for it.
My part time job is stuff of sports gym in Shibuya. It called TIPNESS. It is famous sports club I think. I can use their facitities, so I go to there to training three times for a week. In the effect, I lost 3kg, 1kg fat, and decreased my fat percentage. Im so happy now but I should keep training because summer is coming!!


After I graduate I would like to go abroaed to study English because I want to be an English teacher for Children. My ambition is open my own Enblish school in my home. It is my dream since I was a junior high. so now I choosing school!! And also I have to study hard more and more...

Music Review

YUKI:JOY

Shi is an pop singer in Japan. In 1993, she came out as a vocalist of JUDY AND MARY. it was very famous band. Also, they released many many hit songs such a 「SOBAKASU」　and 「Over Drive」 and so on but, in 2001, they disbanded after final live in Tokyo dome. Then, she debuted as a solo singer in 2002.

Her best charm is voice, I think. Her voice is characteristic, clear, and so cute. her voice healed me when I listen her song. And her lylics were wrriten about sad story of love, girls real feelings, and thanks for everything so I can really sympathize with them. I love all of her songs, especially 「JOY」 because the song's music video is very very lovely and she was awared a prize which is SPACE SHOWER Music Video Awards in this song. Her music videos are always creative and artistic. she sings about love is what a fun and I want to love until I die in this song. My actual reason why I chose this one is this song gave me many courades and power when I pursued a guy who I loved. It is my memorial song. You must check it and I hope you like it!!
